Thanksgiving Point kicked off International Women’s Day with a “SHEroes in STEM” (STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) event held at the Museum of Natural Curiosity. Les Olson IT’s new VP of Accounting Amanda Slatter was one of 12 nominated as one of the SHEroes to spotlight at Thanksgiving Point.
Matt Olson Memorial Scholarship for IT Students at UBTech
UBTech and Les Olson Company are pleased to announce The Matt Olson Memorial Scholarship to benefit Information Technology students at UBTech. This scholarship in memory of Matt Olson (pictured above) who passed away due to suicide. Matt managed the IT and software solutions departments at Les Olson Company, guiding the company’s specialized technology offerings.

Les Olson Company has provided an I.T. intern to Three Square Food Bank through Tech Impact’s ITWorks program. ITWorks offers immersive I.T. training to young adults. Students earn a professional certification in I.T. and experience a real-world internship, learning first hand from leading corporations and nonprofits.
2016 Utah Food Bank Mobile Pantry Volunteering
We’re proud to work with Utah Food Bank in various ways, including sending employees to volunteer at their Mobile Pantry. Each month, Les Olson Company sends team members to the Mobile Pantry at Franklin Elementary to help pass out food to kids and families that need it.
